It was a long journey for the founder of the company, Alicia Stapletons first wife, Livia.
“It was about three weeks before I decided that I needed a new house in Sydney, I was in a very difficult financial situation at the time,” she said.
“I had to find somewhere to rent and I was looking for somewhere with a large space.
I thought about the beach, the mountains and the ocean, I thought that it would be a great place to go for a weekend and a really relaxing time.”
The new location was chosen because it is in the city’s inner west, with a population of just over 20,000.
“There is a great community of people that live in the inner west of Sydney, we have got some really nice beaches,” Ms Staplets said.

“The first thing she did was take her out to the Olympic Park and she went to the beach and there was nothing there.
So I was like, ‘I can’t wait to go to the spa’.”
In the weeks since, Ms Lili has taken the idea to a whole new level.
“We are now a really small family, it is very quiet and it is quite relaxing,” Ms Lilis mother said.
In addition to offering a spa and a hot tub, the spa also has a full range of luxury services.
“They have a really lovely and modern design, a large swimming pool, sauna, massage room, a steam room and a sauna,” Ms LaVista said.
The spa will be located in a new residential area in Sydney’s inner city, close to the CBD.LUX has grown from a one-bedroom boutique to a fully-fledged spa with two luxurious suites.
